| Pop'rs are starting to POP up everywhere! |
"... a line of carbonated seasonings, add pop to anything! We like the cinnamon on buttered toast. FIZZ FACTOR: full fireworks ..." May '08 Issue, Every Day With Rachael Ray
"I sprinkled some over the carrots that we had for dinner. Micayla asked why her food was singing. Then when she took a bite she said, "Oh my gosh! My carrots are singing in my mouth." As strange as I thought they were I have to admit they actually worked - the kids ate more carrots..." http://kaysvillemomma.blogspot.com/
"There is a new craze going on in my house! Every time we eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even a snack, my girls BEG to add on some Pop'rs!" http://dewgin.blogspot.com/2008/06/snap-crackle-pop.html
"I am officially a Pop'rs user! Tonight we enjoyed unusual giggles, oohs & awws at the dinner table. I made our fav. dish, chicken chimichangas (which my boys could take or leave depending on their mood). But not tonight! We enjoyed listening to our chimichangas "talk" as I sprinkled on the Pop'rs. Even my hubby, who generally has a distaste for kiddie stuff, asked for some on his. My two year old who, is an avid veggie-hater, was mesmerized by what was going on in his mouth. Did he eat the veggies better? Well no, but he wouldn't eat a green candy if I gave him one. The boy has always had it in his head that green does not mean go (for it)! Besides that we had such a good time at the table and it kept them from the usual whining. I can't wait to try the chocolate and watch their tickled little faces." http://reedsoftn.blogspot.com/
"Pop'rs are not candy, they are a supplement to be added to foods to make them more fun and enjoyable for kids of all ages. Pop'rs were invented by parents just like us, ones who want their kids to eat their vegetables, so they made it fun and are now offering that same opportunity to everyone. .... I would use the Buffalo flavor on potatoes and I would use the Color Burst on cupcakes." http://post-itplace.blogspot.com/2008/05/contest-poprs.html
"One of the most unusual things I've tried lately is Pop'rs. Basically fruit and savory flavored Pop Rocks, they are advertised as being appropriate to sprinkle over anything (even vegetables!)" http://foodmaven.blogspot.com/2008/05/poprs-carbonated-sprinkles.html
"How cool! We immediately tore into the package. We decided to be bold right out of the gate, we sampled the buffalo flavor first. And guess what? It totally tastes like a buffalo chicken wing. I’m not kidding! ... I think adding these (Pop'rs) was a huge hit. There were times I’d walk by her office and see people with heads tilted back taking shots of (Pop'rs) and pounding their chests like King Kong afterwards (men are so strange)..." http://prissycook.com/wordpress/2008/05/03/watch-those-carbs/
POP'RS NOTE: This was not a good start for us - Prissycook ordered, did not get her Pop'rs very quick - we were out of inventory after the fast Rachael Ray start, and we did our best to get things straightened out. Since then, we have increased our inventories, reduced the cost significantly, added 4-Pack options, and reduced the freight to make the Pop'rs available to EVERYONE! We are a small family owned company with a very exciting concept, and we will continue to do our best to let you know about Pop'rs, and get them to you fast at a price you will like! "We have tried Strawberry on yogurt, ice cream and cereal. We put Buffalo on grilled chicken, popcorn and vegetables. And, we used Butter on vegetables, popcorn, bread and on a salad. I must say, when my girls have used Pop'rs, they've eaten EVERY bite of their food, which is the goal of the makers of Pop'rs." http://dewgin.blogspot.com/
"Pop’rs are a unique seasoning that goes with just about any kind of food, from applesauce to yogurt, and comes in 8 different flavors. Life just gets better with Pop’rs in the equation." http://kidnutrition.lohudblogs.com/
"There's nothing like sprinkling some Pop'rs seasonings on a freshly picked watermelon. We tried some a while back--Can you say delish?" http://scholastic-scribe.blogspot.com/
"One of the most unusual things I've tried lately is Pop'rs. Basically fruit and savory flavored Pop Rocks, they are advertised as being appropriate to sprinkle over anything (even vegetables!) but I think they are best as an alternative to sprinkles on sweets. Although the buffalo (buffalo chicken flavor, I assume as it tastes like neither the city or bison) is tasty, I can't imagine it eaten any way but licked off the palm of your hand. Anyway, fun for kids, and since they are vitamin-fortified, they are better for you (and have better flavors) than Pop Rocks." http://foodmaven.blogspot.com/
